2022 Paramedic Council Elections

This year full members from the Eastern Region had the opportunity to stand for Member Representative on the Paramedic Council.

The Paramedic Council provides a platform for member representatives to steer and shape the future of the College of Paramedics.

Representatives advocate for the voice of the collective membership in all that the College does, articulate the needs, interests and opinions of members wherever they work, and communicate to ensure an informed and engaged membership.

Full members for the Eastern Region were able to put themselves forward as candidates from 16th May to 6th June. For more information on geographical regions click here

Candidates were voted on by full members from the region of the open seat.

Each Member Representative has a term of two years with an option to stand to be elected for a further term of two years.

Your New Member Representative for the Eastern Region

We'd like to extend a warm welcome to the new Member representative for the Eastern Region, Helen Hardy.

“I'm hoping to work with the outgoing member representative, Graham Clark, over the next few weeks during the handover period and I would like to take this opportunity to thank him for his commitment to the College and members whilst he's been in this role.

“I'll be networking across the area and invite you to contact me to say hello and suggest ways that the College can support you.

“I'll be listening and speaking on your behalf.  Thank you once again for your confidence in me as your new representative and I look forward to serving you in the East and contributing to the development of our exciting profession.”
