Northern Ireland - A Wellbeing Counselling Pathway

Northern Ireland - A Wellbeing Counselling Pathway
As part of the Rejuvenate. Thrive. Breathe. (RTB) paramedic wellness programme, we have collaborated with Links Counselling Service to offer full members in Northern Ireland the opportunity to access free, confidential counselling services.

Links Counselling is a charity offering professional counselling services from three centres in southern and northern trust areas – Armagh, Lurgan, and Lisburn.

Counsellors work with individuals experiencing a variety of life situation and events, including challenges at work, bullying, loss/ bereavement, and relationship difficulties. They also work with those experiencing affected psychological health due to depression, anxiety, traumatic distress, self-harm, low self-confidence, and disordered eating, for example. They also operate a crisis service for individuals who are feeling suicidal, offering an appointment in Lurgan within 48 hours of your call.

If you would like to access these services, please visit the Links Counselling website, and complete the confidential online form, indicating in the ‘referrer’ box that you are applying via the College of Paramedics programme. Links Counselling staff will then contact you directly to arrange an appointment.
