A free event for College of Paramedics members to update on the current NQP situation. This event will be taking place on Friday 1st August 13:30-14:30 on Zoom

There is concern among our student membership with regard to the unfolding scenario of a potentially significant mismatch between graduating numbers and available new registrant roles this year.
Led by the Chief Executive of the College, Tracy Nicholls OBE, we would like to invite our members to join a discussion around the current situation and the work the College of Paramedics is doing to support members and ensure opportunities for timely employment.
This event is specifically targeted at those registering in 2025 as well as those that have already registered and are still seeking employment or that find themselves in a holding pool.
With a panel made up of College representatives, educators and employers we will;
* Share what we know about the recruitment intentions across the UK in 2025/26 from our continued work with arms length bodies.
*Outline our additional work in the new Paramedic Foundation Preceptorship space to ensure continued support of transitioning new registrants.
*Share information around opportunities and roles that new registrants may not have previously considered
*Share the ongoing work we have been doing internationally to explore and pursue opportunities for new registrants to work abroad
*Offer advice around maintaining CPD and confidence whilst seeking employment or awaiting on-boarding.
