Before going further please be sure you are joining the correct category of membership.

Are you a paramedic registered with the UK Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)?
If the answer is yes, Full Membership is the correct category for you.

This is also the correct category for you if you are an:
- HCPC registered paramedic studying for your BSc top-up
- HCPC registered paramedic studying on a Post-graduate course
- HCPC registered paramedic not currently working in a patient facing role

If you are a HCPC registered paramedic, you are only eligible for the Full Membership category.

Other membership categories
If you are not a HCPC registered paramedic, please go to one of our other membership categories. 

Student membership is open to student paramedics who are studying a course leading to eligibility to apply for registration with the HCPC. Click here for further guidance.

Associate Membership is ideal for all those who work with or alongside the paramedic profession, including volunteers or those who otherwise support the paramedic profession. Click here for further guidance.

Non-UK paramedics and overseas/international colleagues
Associate Membership is the membership category for paramedics and other prehospital responders, including those registered with an overseas regulatory body, e.g. the Paramedicine Board of Australia or the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (USA). Click here for further guidance.
