Jacqui Lindridge, Director of Quality, London Ambulance Service NHS Trust

I am proud to be a practising paramedic and Director of Quality at London Ambulance Service NHS Trust (LAS). I joined the LAS in January 2000 and qualified as a paramedic 3 years later. Having spent time in clinical and teaching roles, I then completed a clinical leadership fellowship before becoming a Consultant Paramedic in 2014, where I focussed on the development of urgent care services and issues relating to mental capacity. I then spent a few years with NHS Improvement, in a national improvement role before returning to the LAS during the COVID-19 pandemic to support clinical transformation prior to my appointment leading the Quality Directorate. I am passionate about patient safety, quality improvement and patient experience and have a special interest in medical ethics and law.

April Wrangles, Head of Quality Improvement and Learning, London Ambulance Service NHS Trust

The London Ambulance Service (LAS) has been my home for the last 16 years and since registering as a Paramedic in 2011, I have worked in number of clinical and managerial roles across all aspects of the organisation. In 2016 I completed my first root cause analysis which ignited a passion for; human factors, just culture, quality improvement and patient safety. Since 2018 I have worked within the Quality Directorate and patient safety team, assisting the Trust as an early adopter to the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework. In 2019 I graduated from QSIR college, becoming an associate member of the QSIR teaching faculty and have since delivered continuous QSIR programmes. I am very proud to be leading the Quality Improvement and Learning Team; supporting the Trust in its delivery of the NHS Patient Safety Strategy and progressing as a learning organisation.
