Paramedic Retirement Peer Discussion Group

Paramedic Retirement Peer Discussion Group
As part of the Rejuvenate. Thrive. Breathe. (RTB) paramedic wellness programme, we have collaborated with the heathcare charity Doctors in Distress, to offer full members  the opportunity to join a peer support session for paramedics nearing retirement or newly retired.

There are two 5-week groups starting on 27th September 2022 AND 1st November 2022 at 15:30-16:15. These sessions will be delivered via Zoom.

Register now for free to either date here

Do you know enough about what retirement is really going to be like? Are you worried about what retirement holds? Perhaps you’ve recently retired and it’s not quite turned out as you’d hoped?

These sessions are particularly suited to you if you are:
thinking about retiring in the near future;
in the process of retiring;
recently retired.

This is your opportunity to connect in a confidential online space over five weeks, to:
Learn from others’ experiences and have opportunity to share your own;
Discuss challenges and tips that can help during the retirement phase;
Meet likeminded paramedics going through similar.

Registration is now open. Space is limited to create a small, inclusive environment. Therefore, we encourage you to secure your spot early.

Please note: on the Eventbrite booking page, you are only required to sign up once to either of the two dates above. You do not need to sign up to every session listed.

Some of our previous attendees said:
“It felt good to share experiences with likeminded people going through the same/ similar”
“Before the programme, I felt very isolated, but now I’ve met others in similar situations as me”
“It’s really helped”
