This comprehensive series focuses on a compelling clinical case, delving into its multifaceted aspects to enrich your knowledge and skills. Spanning critical domains such as clinical decision-making, extrication techniques, pharmacology nuances, primary and secondary surveys, and collaborative joint agency efforts, each episode offers an immersive learning experience.

At the heart of every session is a distinguished guest speaker – either a firsthand witness to the case or an authority in the respective field. Their insights provide invaluable context, real-world perspectives, and expert guidance.

This engaging series, spread across several months with monthly episodes, is available to all College members. Aspiring to elevate your expertise, this webinar journey empowers you to excel in trauma care and interprofessional collaboration, ensuring you are well-prepared to tackle the complexities of real-world scenarios head-on.

In the first episode we delve into two critical components, windscreen assessment and when to call for support.  Throughout the session we’ll explore how to conduct an effective windscreen assessment including triaging of casualties. As the patient numbers rise and we suspect further clinical support is required we further discuss when to call for advanced care and providing an effective rationale.

During this episode we welcome guest speaker Dr Philip Cowburn, Consultant in Emergency Medicine, Medical Director for South Western Ambulance Service and co-author to the new 10-second triage tool in mass casualty incidents.  Enhance your paramedic practice with expert guidance, real-world examples, and essential skills. Join us on Tuesday 16th of January at 10am via zoom.
