The College of Paramedics is the professional body for paramedics in the UK.  We are committed to strengthening and developing the profession through providing our members with training, advice and support.  We represent over 22,000 members who are mainly employed by an NHS Trust, a private ambulance service or are studying to become a paramedic.

15,800 members who are HCPC registered paramedics 

4,300 student members who are studying to become a paramedic 

1,800 associate members who have an interest in the paramedic profession

National Conference

The National Conference is the College’s showcase event. Held over two days in May each year it attracts paramedics, including College of Paramedics’ Board members and the College’s Consultant Paramedic Group who are all important influencers and decision-makers in their regions. This conference is key for the ongoing professional development for paramedics in the UK with the aim to provide a variety of presentations on clinical and critical care, as well as leadership and best practice. 

CPD Events

The College of Paramedics holds regular CPD events around the country varying from all day to evening and afternoon sessions on a variety of different topics. If you are interested in sponsoring one or a series of CPD sessions please email events@collegeofparamedics.co.uk

Paramedic INSIGHT magazine

One of the key benefits of College membership is the quarterly magazine ‘Paramedic INSIGHT’, which is a major piece of communication with our members and contains a combination of College news, member features, research articles and clinical pieces.  As a members-only magazine, publications are valued and retained. The content (including your advert) is read, absorbed and referred to. Paramedic INSIGHT is delivered directly to the member.
