Krissie Stiles Presents - Understanding and managing pain in burns.
Krissie will discuss the reasons why burns hurt, ways to recognise impending burn pain and how to support analgesic comfort in a pre-hospital environment.
Burns and Plastic Surgery Clinical Nurse Specialist Kristina Stiles states in her own words ‘burn care is in my blood’. Kristina's enthusiasm and passion for burn care has motivated her to become the founder of the British Burn Association’s Pre-Hospital Specialist Interest Group and co-author of the "Saving Lives is Not Enough" report on the role of pre-hospital emergency services in burn survivor experience and outcomes.

You will hear from the College, who will provide a roundup of activities from 2020 and the recent election results, also from our Treasurer who will present an update on the financial accounts for 2020. Charlie Till, Presents - ECG Mythbusting
This session, presented by Charlie Till, Head of Clinical Improvement and Development, East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust, will include several bite-size snapshots, focusing on a variety of fallacies, pitfalls and potential knowledge gaps in ECG interpretation with an aim of providing tips and helping you to improve your ECG interpretation skills. Topics will include Acute Coronary Syndrome, Narrow Complex Tachycardia and more.
