Our human nervous system has the power to cope with high pressure but not when it’s been ground down by chronic stress. Over time, persistent demands leave us burnt out, our nervous system stuck in survival mode, less able to function at our optimal level.
For this webinar, we are delighted to welcome Dr Claire Plumbly, Clinical Psychologist, and author of the book, 'Burnout', who will explain what burnout is, how to recognise it, and importantly - how we can soothe our nervous system back to full capacity. The session is co-hosted by the College's, Dr Jo Mildenhall, Psychological Health & Wellbeing Manager, College of Paramedics, who will provide insight into how burnout features within the paramedic/ ambulance sector.
