Maternity Month - Upcoming changes to guidelines

Maternity Month - Upcoming changes to guidelines
The British Association of Perinatal Medicine has been working in conjunction with JRCALC and AACE to make significant changes to the maternity guidelines. Recently within the JRCALC update there has been new guidelines for waterbirths and amendments to existing maternity guidelines and we feel it only appropriate to bring these to your attention.

The College is pleased to dedicate April to Maternity CPD. This three-part series will bring these updates to your attention and on Wednesday, 13th of April, at 6pm we update you with Upcoming changes to guidelines.

Please see the other event listing for the other session in the series on the 20th of April at 6pm welcoming the charities CRADLE and SANDs with Having those Difficult Conversations.
In this final session we discuss with both charities how as pre-hospital clinicians can develop and improve our conversation techniques with families who have lost a baby during early pregnancy or experienced still birth.

CRADLE provides support for families and offers training to the NHS on early pregnancy loss and SANDs is the leading stillbirth and neonatal death charity in the UK. The wealth of experience and knowledge from these two charities will offer participants an insight into developing our knowledge and hearing how we can provide support pre-hospital.

We look forward to welcoming you at the second of this three-part series on the 13th of April.

The recording of the session on Waterbirth which took place on Wednesday 6th April can now be found on our CPD hub.
