Mind Over Mountains – A Wellbeing Retreat Snowdonia

Mind Over Mountains – A Wellbeing Retreat Snowdonia
We are delighted to offer this opportunity to full members of the College as part of the Rejuvenate. Thrive. Breathe. (RTB) Paramedic Wellness Programme.
Facilitated by our trusted colleagues at Mind Over Mountains, the wellness retreat is a four-day bespoke offering for full members of the College of Paramedics, and will be held 1st - 4th June 2025, in the beautiful setting of Eryri National Park (Snowdonia). The retreat is an opportunity for those members who are finding life tough and feel that their mental health is being impacted.

The retreat is particularly suited to members who are 'surviving' or 'struggling' as identified by using the mental health continuum, please see below. As such, you may be feeling burnt out, exhausted, anxious, of low mood, have experienced trauma within the workplace, or are affected by a difficult life event(s) such as loss/ bereavement, relationship ending, fitness to practise investigation etc.

The retreat will allow time for reflection, relaxation, and rejuvenation all whilst in the beautiful and peaceful surroundings of the national park. A minimum of two days of hiking are included (which will be suitable for most levels of fitness) along with counselling, coaching and mindfulness input, to enhance your psychological wellbeing. Accommodation and nutritious food are inclusive, however, members will need to make their own transportation arrangements to and from the event location. The team at Mind Over Mountains can facilitate pick-up from local train stations, if required.
