Husting Event - 2025 Trustee Elections
HUSTING EVENT - 2025 TRUSTEE ELECTIONS
MEMBERS ARE INVITED TO OBSERVES THIS IMPORTANT EVENT IN OUR TRUSTEE ELECTION CALENDAR
In our 2025 Trustee elections there are three positions available
President
Vice President (Honorary Secretary)
Trustee (Clinical Development)
Trustees are elected to their positions by the College of Paramedic Congress which is made up of the Board of Trustees and the Paramedic Council
Full members have the opportunity to stand as candidate for one of these roles between the 5th and 26th March. Please click
HERE
for more information on the application process.
To give the candidates the opportunity to engage with their electorate before the vote, we are holding this husting event via MS Teams.
We will invite all candidates to attend and speak to their electorate about why they should be elected to the relevant position. Any candidate that is unable to attend will be invited to provide a video or a written statement to be played or read out at the event.
This year we are also inviting members to attend the event and observe the process. Members are then encouraged to communicate with their Member Representative with their views on which candidate they would vote for, in order to assist the Member Representatives to vote with their members in mind.
The event will be recorded for Congress members who are unable to attend. The structure of the event will depend on how many candidates there are and will be finalised after the 26th March.
