The aim of this study was to gain an understanding of the complexities and dynamics of family donation conversations in hospital and use translational research to apply learnings to the pre-hospital setting.

Antonia Cook MCPara, Paramedic, South Central Ambulance Service

Antonia currently works as a paramedic for South Central Ambulance Service and is studying for an Advance Practice MSc at the University of Hertfordshire. She brings with her a background in engineering, expeditions and austere environment crisis management. A life-long advocate of organ and tissue donation, she is taking every opportunity to build this into a specialist interest. In her spare time, she is actively involved in Girlguiding UK, encouraging the adventurers of the future, off-road winch challenges and open water swimming.
