Polaris Medical Services
Polaris Medical Services are a CQC registered and Home Office Licenced Independent Medical Services and Ambulance provider to several NHS Ambulance Trusts within the UK, providing Front Line Ambulance and Rapid Response Vehicles with Qualified Paramedics and Support Staff.
With 16 sites across the UK, 170 fleet vehicles and over 500 clinicians, Polaris are the largest frontline private ambulance provider in the UK following the acquisition of Jigsaw Medical in August 2021 and remain the only private ambulance provider in the UK with a CQC ‘Outstanding’ rating.
We provide hundreds of thousands of hours of emergency and non-emergency ambulance service each year to a full range of clients both in the private sector and NHS and have over 25 years of extensive experience in the TV, Film, Advertising and Sports industry.
We also have multiple fully equipped education facilities, alongside a team of industry leading specialists, delivering courses in pre-hospital care from various awarding bodies. Our training is designed to give candidates the lifesaving skills needed in the workplace and is recognised as some of the best in the UK. We offer regular courses at our training centres based in Reading, Chester, and Buckingham as well as ‘in-house’ training for our clients on a nationwide and international scale. As a company who provide 999 emergency services to NHS Trusts across the UK, Polaris really do practice what they teach!
