An analytic auto-netnography of the online social spaces for paramedics working in primary care
Date: Wednesday 25th May 2022
Background and Objectives
Our recently published realist review (Eaton et al, 2021) highlights the complexity surrounding the introduction of paramedics into primary care roles. With a dearth of other research focussing on the paramedic role in primary care, this gap was addressed by undertaking an analytic auto-netnography of the online social spaces for paramedics working in primary care to gain insight into the perceptions paramedics have on their role in primary care and the issues that matter to them in the course of their work.
