The crucial issue of the mental health and wellbeing of the ambulance service has arguably never been more relevant, and there has been a significant call to action to address and prevent this important humanitarian issue across the healthcare sector.
Commissioned by Health Education England, The College of Paramedics’ Future Workforce Mental Health Project, has seen the creation of national curriculum mental health & wellbeing guidance for pre-registration students, the development of a wellbeing and recovery support tool for student paramedics and early career staff and an education package for student and preceptorship supervisors.
This conference will explore this project in more depth, along with hosting best practice workshops to support and equip higher education and trust providers to take this work forward.
This event is open to all higher education faculties, trust education providers and those with an interest in the project work.
The event also includes attendance at the College of Paramedics Annual General Meeting. The AGM, which will last 45 minutes starts at 12:30 and you are warmly welcome to join colleagues whilst eating your lunch.
Places are limited so please book early if you wish to attend.
