About this event
This event is open to full members of the College of Paramedics only and we have limited places of 12.

Our aim, is to promote outdoor recreation as a means of improving mental health and wellbeing.
This is an introductory event aimed at:
People new to the activity
People that used to spend time in the outdoors but, for whatever reason, have lost the confidence to do so
People that are looking to meet like-minded people so that they can plan their own adventures

Using the Mental Health Continuum, this event will be most suited to those members who feel they are 'thriving' or 'surviving'; members who feel they need a little time out in the open countryside and have a breather.

The Mental Health Continuum can be accessed Here:

Event Summary

After suitable refreshments we will make our way down, not before ticking the summit of Birkhouse Moor, and on back into Glenridding, where refuelling options are plentiful, from corner shop snacks through to pubs and sit-down restaurants.
