This is an introductory event aimed at:
People new to the activity
People that used to spend time in the outdoors but, for whatever reason, have lost the confidence to do so
People that are looking to meet like-minded people so that they can plan their own adventures

Using the Mental Health Continuum, this event will be most suited to those members who feel they are 'thriving' or 'surviving'; members who feel they need a little time out in the open countryside and have a breather.

Event Summary provided by Blackdog, the event providers
This month's College of Paramedics event will be the famous Moel Siabod via Daear Ddu ridge.
This is a great introduction to anyone that fancies either something a bit more rugged and technical or if you fancy having a go at scrambling.
Moel Siabod is a lovely easy grade 1, we can make it as easy or as hard as we like and that's what makes it a fantastic introduction to scrambling. This is perfect for anyone who has already walked in the mountains before, heard about scrambling, but not had the confidence to give it a go. Or maybe you like scrambling, but not on your own? Or want to increase your knowledge on scrambling. The leaders have a lot of experience and it will be a day of lots of advice as we head over the ridge, enjoy the awesome views at the summit then a choice of descent to finish.
