Full time, 37.5 hours per week (part time considered)
Cottage Hospice is the first of its kind in the UK. Led by volunteers and facilitated by Paramedic and Nursing staff. It will help us meet more unmet need in the community by providing end of life care in a ‘home from home’ environment at our purpose-built Cottage Hospice in Five Ashes.
We believe that no one knows a person better than their family, so your role will be to empower and enable family caregivers to continue to care for their loved ones, at the end of life.
You will be part of a workforce dedicated to ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to those in the dying phase of a terminal illness, demonstrating a flexible and dynamic approach to care.
You will be a qualified Paramedic with exceptional communication skills and the drive and passion to be part of delivering a progressive new way of caring for patients at the end of life. You will make a real difference to patients, families and carers.
You will demonstrate competence as the main registered practitioner in charge of the shift and have the confidence to take on overall accountability responsibility for the daily delivery of the Service.
We will give you learning and development opportunities to help you progress and clinical supervision, along with the ability to transfer an NHS pension, annual Cost of Living increase, generous holiday allowance, including long service recognition and enhancements for bank holidays, night shifts and extended roles and responsibilities.
