The College of Paramedics is seeking an inspirational leader to be its next Chief Executive.
The College exists to develop paramedic practice across the UK, working to inspire and enable all paramedics to participate in the profession within an environment based on safety, collegiality, inclusiveness, mental and physical well-being, and progression. The Chief Executive role is critical to developing world-leading paramedic practice in the UK and impacting the patients they serve.
We are the only professional body dedicated to developing the paramedic profession in the UK. Established in 2001 we have grown significantly in the last 16 years and now represent over 11,000 registered paramedics, as well as 3,600 students and 1,700 associate members. With this growth the College faces a number of exciting opportunities and challenges as well as increase in enquiries as it becomes the organisation of choice for questions about the skills and capabilities of paramedics in an ever increasing range of working environments.
We are looking to appoint an engaging and enthusiastic senior leader able to demonstrate strong, collaborative leadership skills and business management ability. Candidates will bring good strategic and analytical skills coupled with the credibility to represent the charity with a wide range of stakeholders.
The new Chief Executive will have experience of working closely with a Board and leading a staff team in order to deliver our strategic plan to support the growth and development of the charity.
Come and join us to lead the next stage of our development.
