GMICE 2019

GMICE 2019 – Limited Places Available

Good Medicine in Challenging Environments (GMICE) is an annual multi-disciplinary CPD event which offers keynote talks, practical workshops (including in the water) and large-scale major incident exercises. This highly successful event takes place on 5-7 April in Newquay, Cornwall. A limited number of places are available to College of Paramedics members at a discount rate of £55 for the weekend. This includes all 16 hours of awesome CPD + food + a GMICE 2019 T-shirt!  Camping is an optional extra for just £10 per night but accommodation is available in town at commercial rates (watch out for details of any group discounts).

The event will host 72 participants in 6 multi-disciplinary teams. Workshops are facilitated by passionate, experienced clinicians that love the outdoors. GMICE is run on a completely voluntary, ‘not for profit’ basis and any profit made will be donated to charity. All faculty give their time freely.

Tickets are limited: Copy and paste this link to book your place now: https://goo.gl/forms/UYa4xwheVEL9np9y2

Please only book if you can make both days of the event and without coming straight from a night shift. This is not only for your own safety and to ensure that you get the most from the event, but also in fairness to the others in your group, allowing them also to make the most of the dynamic learning environment.

GMICE 2019  - Volunteers Needed!

GMICE 2019 includes two large scale multi agency major incident exercises. The organisers are keen to hear from any College of Paramedics members who may interested in volunteering their time as a casualty, or if you have expertise in this area, as an observer, to offer supportive feedback to participants.  If interested please copy and paste this link  https://goo.gl/forms/EnPhqqvohlwQ3K7p2
