HCPC Direct Debit Collection Error

As you may be aware, on 24 December 2020 an issue occurred with a direct debit collection from radiographers, orthoptists and paramedics on our Register. This was due to a system error which caused our usual direct debit collections to happen a week earlier than they should have done.

We fully understand that this may have caused inconvenience and concern for some of our registrants and your members. We have contacted all the affected registrants via email apologising for this error and setting out details of the steps we are now taking and how anyone affected can get further assistance.

We also published a statement on our website - here - on the day of the error, which was sent out via our social media channels.

Unfortunately, the early collection could not be reversed, but we are able to reimburse any bank fees that registrants may have incurred as a result. If registrants have incurred additional charges because of this early payment we have encouraged them to contact our Finance team via finance@hcpc-uk.org, including a form of evidence.
