Job Summary
The ideal post holder will hold an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or be working towards RCN credentialing accreditation or as a Paramedic. Within your professional boundaries you will assess, diagnose, and prescribe where appropriate. In addition, you will provide advice, care, and management for primary care patients either via telephone or face to face. This may involve the management of long-term conditions and diagnosed or undiagnosed undifferentiated illness.

The clinician will act as a positive team player whilst working flexibly in a primary care environment to provide safe, clinical, and expert care. The clinician working in this role will demonstrate clinical reasoning, critical thinking and will be key to supporting clinical work across the wider healthcare team to meet the needs of patients. They will participate in and lead change for the benefit of patients and/or the organisation and be a key member of the clinical team.

The extensive footprint of the organisation can facilitate a broad depth of skills and experience to be developed in numerous ways facilitating the benefits of exposure in a busy primary care organisation. The post holder will be expected to be flexible regarding hours to suit the organisational demand; however, primarily the hours offered will be between 0800-1830.
