The base salary for the role is US$42,000-US$50,000 annually plus relocation package and other incentives, all TAX FREE! 

About Cayman Islands Medevac

We are looking for a motivated Paramedic/s to join our dedicated team at Cayman Islands Medevac Ambulance Service to provide high quality pre-hospital care Island-wide. Our Private Ambulance company has been operating in the Cayman Islands since 2015.

We pride ourselves in offering the highest standards of quality and safety of ambulance services, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. 

Typical schedules for medical crews are 3 days on/3 days off – this allows our crew to engage in other activities and enjoy the beauty of our islands. 

Our Ambulance is stocked with a full complement of ALS and BLS equipment to handle most any scenario we may encounter.

We respond to diverse range of calls: including patients transport off cruise ships, ground transports for arriving and departing air ambulances, medical helicopter transfers between our islands or inter-hospitals patient transfers within the island.  As well as many private/or customer driven calls for service.

You will be expected to:
Deliver Customer Oriented High-quality paramedic care to each patient throughout the transport process
Handle calls volume of 500+ per annum
Operate Ambulance Equipment
Lead and Coordinate Ambulance Team in Medical Transports
Evaluate Patients Condition on the Scene and perform preliminary Diagnosis
Monitor Patients Condition en-route during the transport
Collaborate with interested parties (hospital, other Emergency services etc.)
Adhere to established medical protocols as well as legal guidelines and health and safety standards

About You
We are looking for an experienced Ambulance Paramedic with education, training and practical work experience from one of the following regions; Australia, Canada, Jamaica, New Zealand, South Africa, United Kingdom or the United States of America. You will be required to register as a Paramedic in the Cayman Islands.

We are further seeking the following Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:

Paramedic qualification (e.g. IHCD, DipHE, FdSc, BSc)
At least 5+ years of Paramedic experience
A combination of experience is preferred that includes 3-5 years each of ground and flight CCT experience 
Current AHA ACLS & BCLS required; PALS preferred 
CEVO/EVOC required 
Knowledge of Paramedic principles, practices and techniques and how they are used in Medical Transport operations
Effective communication, and motivational skills associated with supporting a multi-professional clinical team
Valid Driver’s License in the relevant category to Operate Ambulance
