Who are MB Medical Solutions?
MB Medical Solutions are a multi-disciplinary team of health care professionals who have been providing specialist medical care to high profile events and venues across England since 2014. We have gained a wealth of experience and knowledge during this time and our organisation continues to grow as a result of the high-quality service we deliver. Our expert team of frontline clinicians are led by experienced nurses, doctors, and paramedics with backgrounds in frontline care and NHS management. Together we deliver industry-leading care to our stakeholders and partners and ensure that our patients receive gold standard care wherever they may need us.
Why chose to work with MB medical?
Our professional and pioneering culture is core to our organisation and we take pride in our work whilst always ensuring that our staff feel valued, well-supported and able to thrive in a supportive and inclusive workplace. Our team members often work in multi-disciplinary teams and this gives our paramedics opportunities to share knowledge across sectors; build new connections with one another and continue learning. We believe that collaborative working is vitally important and ensure that our paramedics can get clinical support whenever they need it to support complex decision making.
We are proud to work with venues and event partners that share our values whilst also being industry leaders. Paramedics with MB will have opportunities to work in a variety of care settings such as dedicated treatment centres, double crewed ambulances, and foot patrols within high profile locations like Goodwood, Farnborough, and Alexandra Palace.
As registered healthcare professionals we recognise that there is a clear need to ensure that our equipment, governance processes and medicines management are delivered to an equally high standard as can be expected in NHS organisations. We take pride in ensuring that our clinicians can focus on providing gold standard patient care safe in the knowledge that our dedicated management teams have taken care of everything else. We find that we work best with clinicians who are in current NHS employment in a patient-facing role and who can demonstrate their currency at interview. During the interview process, we will welcome questions on the steps we are taking to look after you and your professional registration.
Who are we recruiting?
We are looking to recruit HCPC registered Paramedics and other ambulance staff to join us on a bank or part-time basis to cover events and venues around North London and across the South Coast with immediate start dates. We operate a busy schedule and require willing and flexible paramedics with a love of pre-hospital care.
If you work for the ambulance service but are not a registered paramedic, please see our other job vacancy listings.
What do we expect of our Paramedics?
The role of a paramedic is just as varied and challenging with MB medical solutions as it is with frontline NHS organisations. The day-to-day role of a paramedic can vary enormously as we adapt our services to fit the needs of our event partners. Paramedics often find themselves working on double crewed ambulances, on foot patrol, in treatment centres or even cycle responding at times! We like to tailor our roles for each event to best suit our staff’s individual interests but there will be occasions where autonomous decision making is an essential part of the role. To this end we ask that paramedics have a minimum of 12 months front line experience before joining us. We support decision making with use of a clinical advice phone line and encourage multi-disciplinary decision making within our teams of experienced staff wherever possible.
