Dan Haworth MCPara, joined Sussex Ambulance Service in 2000. Qualifying as a Paramedic in 2004, Dan has since gone on to fulfil various roles including; Team Leader, Educational and Development Officer and Clinical Support Officer.
Dan is currently the Clinical Practice Manager for North East Ambulance Service, with responsibilities including; clinical audit, development and governance. As one of the original members of the NEAS cardiac arrest response unit Dan has helped to develop the operating framework and still undertakes operational shifts as part of this unit, practicing at an advanced level. Dan is also the secretary for the BASICs North East Charity BANE.
Dan has a Cert Ed in Adult Learning, a BSc in Paramedic Practice and is currently studying for an MSc in Health Care Leadership. Outside of work he is an outdoor pursuits enthusiast having spent a number of years whitewater kayaking in various countries, mountain biking and hill walking.
